I gained my degree in jewellery design and making at Central St Martin's College, London, one of the foremost centres of excellence in Europe. Following experience in a jewellery manufacturing company and jewellers' workshops, I started designing and making my own pieces.
My work has won award from Goldsmith's Hall, been featured in various magazines and shown at numerous galleries and exhibitions in London and the South East.
Apart from jewellery design for the end customer, I also work with fashion designers on pieces to complement particular fashion items - and have been commissioned to make silver picture frames, keyring fobs and even rather exclusive dog and cat name tags!
In 2004 I successfully applied for membership of the Sussex Guild and today my work is most often seen at their regular contemporary craft shows, held throughout the year around the county.
I draw my inspiration from natural forms - 2009 saw the emergence of two new ranges inspired by leaves and bugs.
Going into 2010 my work will take on a little more structure, creating more clearly defined ranges, something I have been asked for by many of my customers. Individual pieces will still feature.
I only work with pure, precious metals and quality gem stones. I do what I do because I love the process of design and forming beautiful jewellery from elemental materials through highly skilled, traditional methods. I hope that love and passion for my work comes through in my pieces.
